Door System (UK) Ltd is a long established Company serving and allied to the building trade.  Formally known as Door System Installations, the company was started in 1984 and in the early days, mainline activities were repair, service and maintenance.  In 2004 Door System Installations merged with CAME Automatic Doors Ltd to create the new company: Door System (UK) Ltd.

Door System (UK) Ltd has developed into offering a full turnkey service; we can take a project from its initial conception right through to installation, commissioning and final hand over to the end user.

A full design service is offered producing CAD drawings, giving the end user an insight as to how the finished project will appear.

On new builds or architecturally led refurbishments, we can work with the architect’s drawings to advise the designer on potential problem areas which may be encountered.

Door System (UK) Ltd has its own manufacturing facility where all doors, screens, windows and roofing systems are built and tested to BS7036 specifications prior to installation. 

Our manufacturing and installation engineers are ADSA trained and fully capable of working and adhering to current British Standards and Companies’ Health and Safety and Sub-Contactor Policies.   All Door System (UK) Ltd engineers are fully trained in both mechanical and electrical aspects of automatic doors and can locate, diagnose and repair faults normally in one visit.

On new automatic operator units, Door System (UK) Ltd can offer public thoroughfare, disability access and management controlled systems.  Using push button, body sensing or pressure mat activation alongside full safety systems for swing, sliding and folding doors.

Door System (UK) Ltd engineers are fully conversant with most types of door operators including Dorma, Geze, Dor-O-Matic, Besam, Record, Stanley, Horton, Grupsa and Entre-Matic. Therefore, we are able to offer both repair and maintenance contracts on manual and automatic doors, even if we did not undertake the installation.

As well as automatic slide and swing units, Door System (UK) Ltd are fully competent with all types of aluminium fabrication, including curtain walling, armour plated doors, glass and aluminium doors and windows, utilising proprietary aluminium sections, beading and gasketry all to British Standards.

A full glazing service to British Standards is also offered using both single and double glazed units
